Upper Deck’s Exclusive Autograph Deal with Macklin Celebrini

Upper Deck, a renowned name in the world of sports and entertainment collectibles, has made waves with its latest announcement of an exclusive autograph trading card deal with the rising star of ice hockey, Macklin Celebrini. Following Celebrini’s monumental signing with the San Jose Sharks® and securing the first overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft™, Upper Deck will be the sole producer of trading cards featuring the young phenom. This partnership grants Upper Deck the rights to use Celebrini’s name, image, likeness, and autograph on their popular trading card brands like the Upper Deck Flagship Series, SP Authentic, and O-Pee-Chee-Platinum.

At just 18 years old, Macklin Celebrini has already made a significant mark in the hockey world. His exceptional talent and achievements saw him being selected as the top pick by the San Jose Sharks® in the latest draft. Prior to his professional debut, Celebrini made headlines during his college career by becoming the youngest player ever to secure the prestigious Hobey Baker Award in his freshman year, a testament to his exceptional skills on the ice. His stellar performance in the 2023-24 season also earned him accolades such as the Hockey East Player of the Year, Hockey East Rookie of the Year, Hockey East Scoring Champion, and the recipient of the Hockey East Three-Stars Award for leading the regular season in points.

Jason Masherah, President of Upper Deck, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “Macklin Celebrini is a remarkable talent, and we’re proud to have him join our lineup of hockey superstars. Our commitment to bringing fans closer to their favorite NHL players is exemplified through this collaboration, highlighting both seasoned veterans and emerging talents like Celebrini. We are honored to be part of this pivotal moment in his career and are eager to capture his success on the ice once he steps into the NHL arena.”

As a special treat for fans, Upper Deck has introduced a limited edition Game Dated Moments card featuring Macklin Celebrini on the Upper Deck e-Pack®. This exclusive card will be available for collection until July 25 at 8:59 AM PST, giving fans the opportunity to kickstart their Celebrini memorabilia. Additionally, followers and collectors can anticipate the release of more Celebrini trading card products throughout the upcoming 2024-25 NHL season, offering a chance to own unique pieces commemorating the rising star’s journey in professional hockey.
