Topps Unveils NCAA March Madness Basketball Card Series

Topps has partnered with the NCAA to launch an exciting inaugural March Madness basketball card series that is sure to captivate sports fans and collectors alike. The series introduces packs of eight cards, with each pack priced at $139.99, offering enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of basketball history. Notably, each pack guarantees an autograph card from a lineup of standout players that includes the men’s Player of the Year, Zach Edey from Purdue, and the women’s Player of the Year, Caitlin Clark.

The pack comprises the sought-after autographed card, six base cards, and one parallel card numbered to 99 or fewer, adding an element of exclusivity to the collection. These limited edition packs are available for purchase through Topps’ official website until Thursday, giving fans a short window to secure their favorite player’s card. Additionally, lucky buyers may find dual autograph cards in one out of every ten packs, adding an extra layer of excitement to the series.

The star-studded lineup of featured athletes in the Bowman U NOW March Madness series includes a select group of 20 basketball players who have agreed to be part of this exclusive collection. For the men’s category, names like Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham from Kentucky, Tristen Newton and Stephon Castle from UConn, and Cody Williams from Colorado stand out. On the women’s side, standout players such as Cameron Brink from Stanford and Aaliyah Edwards from UConn add to the diversity of talent showcased in the series.

One of the highlights of the collection is the presence of dual autographs, featuring iconic pairings like Caitlin Clark/Zach Edey, Caitlin Clark/Angel Reese, Angel Reese/Hailey Van Lith, and Reed Sheppard/Rob Dillingham. These exclusive dual autograph cards elevate the series by combining the talent and charisma of two top players in a single card, making them highly sought after by collectors and fans alike.

While Caitlin Clark’s inclusion in the Topps card series is a significant draw for fans, her card availability will end on April 1 due to her exclusive trading card agreement with Panini America. Throughout the season, Topps has released over 120 Bowman U cards via the Topps NOW platform, providing fans with a variety of collectibles featuring their favorite college basketball stars.
