Panini Celebrates Jannik Sinner’s No. 1 Ranking

Panini, the renowned collectibles brand, has joined forces with tennis prodigy Jannik Sinner to commemorate his remarkable achievement of securing the top spot in the ATP world rankings. Hailing from Modena, Italy, Sinner has etched his name in history as the first Italian player to reach this prestigious milestone, and Panini is leaving no stone unturned in celebrating this iconic moment.

The collaboration between Panini and Sinner dates back to 2022 when they released “Piccoli grandi campioni – Manuale illustrato del tennis di Jannik Sinner” (Young Great Champions – Jannik Sinner’s Illustrated Tennis Manual), a book that sheds light on Sinner’s tennis journey and imparts valuable insights into the sport. Adding a playful twist to their partnership, Sinner was showcased as “Quacknik Spinner,” a charming duckified version of himself, on the cover of Topolino magazine, published by Panini Comics in May 2024.

Expressing his joy and nostalgia, Sinner shared his fond memories of collecting Panini stickers and reading their comics during his formative years. The tennis sensation conveyed his excitement about connecting with his fan base through Panini’s unique and personalized products, fostering a deeper bond with tennis enthusiasts worldwide.

The initial release under this collaboration will feature a Panini Instant trading card, specially designed to commemorate Sinner’s remarkable ascent to the pinnacle of the ATP rankings. This exclusive card will be available solely on the Panini America platform, offering fans a coveted piece of memorabilia to cherish. Looking ahead, Panini has ambitious plans to launch a series of trading card collections dedicated to Sinner, showcasing rare memorabilia and limited-edition cards that will be accessible globally through Panini’s e-commerce network and select retail outlets.

With a roadmap of immersive releases lined up for 2024 and beyond, the partnership between Panini and Jannik Sinner promises an exciting array of collectibles and memorabilia for tennis aficionados and fans of the rising tennis star. Stay tuned for more captivating collaborations and exclusive offerings that pay tribute to Sinner’s phenomenal journey to the top of the tennis world.
