Exclusive Auction Showcases Impressive Vintage Card Collection

Memory Lane’s Premier Auction is an exclusive event that has collectors buzzing with excitement. Running until February 4th, this meticulously curated auction presents a rare and highly sought-after selection of vintage sports cards. From baseball to football and basketball, this auction covers a wide range of sports and eras, offering something for every enthusiast.

One of the highlights of this auction is the 1909 T204 Ramly Walter Johnson rookie card. As one of only two in NM/MT condition graded PSA 8, this card has quickly caught the attention of bidders, with its value already reaching six figures. Another standout card is the T206 Ty Cobb Portrait (Green) card, of which only three copies have been graded PSA 7. Also featured is a highly rated PSA 6 Cobb ‘Bat Off Shoulder’ Old Mill back.

The pre-war era cards are well represented in this auction, with exceptional pieces like the PSA 7 graded T206 Cy Young card and the highest graded PSA 9 T206 Nap Lajoie (Throwing) card. But it’s the 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle card that steals the show. Graded PSA 9, this card is one of only 13 at this level, with just two known to be graded higher.

Mickey Mantle’s legacy carries on in this auction with six additional cards from the 1950s, each graded either 8 or 9. The 1953 Topps and Bowman series are particularly noteworthy, showcasing Mantle’s talent and popularity during that era.

Roberto Clemente’s cards from 1956 to 1973 dominate the auction, with numerous Mint 9 graded versions available. Collectors can also find exceptional cards of Willie Mays, including a rare 1962 Topps card graded PSA 9 and a 1970 Topps card, one of only two graded PSA 10.

In addition to baseball, this auction caters to football and basketball enthusiasts. Football lovers can find high-grade rookie cards of legends like Frank Gifford, Johnny Unitas, and Joe Namath. Meanwhile, basketball collectors will delight in rookie cards of Bill Russell (PSA 7), Wilt Chamberlain (PSA 8), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (PSA 8), Larry Bird/Magic Johnson (PSA 9), and Michael Jordan (PSA 8).

If you’re a sports memorabilia collector or enthusiast, Memory Lane’s Premier Auction offers a unique opportunity to acquire a piece of history. Whether it’s the rarity of the cards or the historical significance attached to them, this auction is not one to be missed. Make sure to mark your calendars for February 4th, the final day of the auction, and visit Memory Lane’s website for more information. Don’t miss out on the chance to own a piece of sports history!
