Whatnot Rewards Club Enhances Buyer-Seller Interactions

Whatnot, a popular online marketplace, is thrilled to introduce its latest feature – the Rewards Club. This innovative addition aims to elevate the interactions between buyers and sellers on the platform, making transactions more engaging and rewarding for all parties involved.

What is Rewards Club?

The Rewards Club is a dynamic loyalty program that caters to both buyers and sellers. By participating in this program, sellers can expand their businesses, while buyers can enjoy a more personalized and rewarding shopping experience. This program is always active and is designed to foster deeper connections between buyers and sellers, ultimately driving increased purchases.

Customizable for Sellers

Understanding that each seller’s business is unique, Whatnot has created a customizable Rewards Club. Sellers have the flexibility to tailor their loyalty program to suit their specific community and business objectives, ensuring a more targeted approach to rewarding customer interactions.

Program Structure

The Rewards Club comprises five tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Each tier is unlocked by achieving specific milestones set by the seller, such as watching shows, making purchases, or reaching a certain spending threshold. As sellers progress through the tiers, they unlock various rewards and benefits to incentivize continued engagement.

Rewards and Benefits

Members of the Rewards Club can look forward to a range of rewards and benefits, including status badges, coupons for discounts or free shipping, and exclusive access to tier-specific shows. Once users achieve the set milestones, they are automatically enrolled in the program and can start reaping the rewards.

Seasonal Resets

To keep the program fresh and exciting, the Rewards Club undergoes a reset every three months. This seasonal schedule allows sellers to refine and enhance their offerings, providing an opportunity for continuous improvement and innovation.

Why It’s Customizable

The adaptable nature of the Rewards Club ensures that it caters to the diverse needs and preferences of sellers on the Whatnot platform. Sellers have free rein to set achievement thresholds and select rewards that align with their strategic objectives, offering a truly personalized experience for their customers.

Managing Tiers and Achievements

Sellers are in full control of their Rewards Club, setting achievements that buyers must fulfill to progress through the tiers. Sellers can initiate their program at any time within a season and make adjustments at the end of each season to optimize their program’s performance.

Beta Testing and Launch

The beta testing phase for the Rewards Club is ongoing until August 31, with the official Season 1 launch scheduled for September 1. Sellers participating in the beta phase can fine-tune their tiers and make modifications by liaising with their Account Manager or contacting Whatnot Support.

Getting Started

To secure a spot on the early access waitlist for editing tiers in Season 1, interested parties can sign up for updates on the Whatnot website.

Seller Requirements

To be eligible to join the Rewards Club as a seller, certain criteria must be met, including processing a minimum of 50 non-giveaway orders, earning over $1,000 on Whatnot, being an active seller for at least 30 days, maintaining a seller rating of 4.8 or above, and avoiding violations.

For Buyers

Buyers automatically become members of a seller’s Rewards Club upon making a purchase. The user-friendly Rewards Club overview page allows for easy management of coupons and rewards, although it is important to note that purchases made using coupons are final.

Tracking Achievements

Achievements are based on the total amount spent, excluding discounts applied via coupons. Tax and shipping fees are included in the spending totals that contribute towards unlocking the next tier of rewards.

Privacy and Visibility

Members have the option to display or conceal their Rewards Badges during live shows, ensuring that privacy preferences are respected and giving users control over their visibility on the platform.

Questions and Support

As the Rewards Club continues to evolve, the Whatnot support team is dedicated to assisting users with any inquiries or challenges they may encounter. Users are encouraged to reach out for prompt assistance and guidance on navigating the Rewards Club.
